I spent my time alone, growin' old once again
I'm still listening to the same songs as I did when I was 10
Messin' around with so many instruments
An impressionable kid
I took the tape player to the closet, recording anything
Now here I am and suddenly I don't feel much different
Act like nothing else matters
Let's make it clear that we are different here
But we are all like little children
Everybody wants attention
I don't need your validation
Your meaningless validation
Wasted retribution lives here,
Let me make sure that it's clear
I tell you time and time again,
But you still don't listen
I'm not sure I care at all now, if you don't anymore
How the hell could I?
After all, it's lost like childhood
