Blessed be the day of our Saviour's birth
Down from Heaven He came
To teach us of our worth
Hope is not forsaken now
The light has shined on Earth

Try as we may to make it on our own
We all need a helping hand
To show us where we're goin'
Back in the days when the
Wise men walked the land
A little child was sent to us
To help us understand

There in the manger He lay with a bed
