Ghost
I’m in the store but the clerk can’t see me
Crashed in my car but the beat can’t beat me
I’m on the roof of my mama’s spot
And she’s in the car with a call from the cops
And my sisters back in the kitchen reading
She prays her boyfriend don’t come for the beating
I see his car coming down in the evening
I try to fight but the brother can’t feel me
Outside by house and I’m standing by the front door
My papa’s crying, says ‘what’d you take my son for?’
Sister is silent inside her head is spinning
And good Grim Reaper stands next to me, he’s grinning
I walked for days on a path through the jungle
Came to a maze that said it would make me younger
Next thing I know my head hits the pillow
Open my eyes and I’m six feet underground though
