O Lord, You are my rock
Hear my humble plea
Don't let me be like those in the pit
But show me Your great mercy
And when I cry for help
When I lift my hands
Don't drag me off with the wicked and evil
Give them according to the works of their hands
Blessed be the Lord
For He heard my cry

The Lord is my strength
The Lord is my shield
In Him my heart does trust
