I play drums in the dark to the beat of my heart
Mesuring patterns of time
Each strike I blow is a drop in the sea
Each drop is one of a kind
Outside the rain has cooled down the night
And now the streets shimmer and shine
Inside my skin is a furnace so bright
That all who look straight must go blind
