Vesper

They beckon sweetly
I sing a sable vesper
This body is a vessel singing
“Take me as I am”
The earth surrounds me
Why don’t I jump in?
Drown me

A sea of green
Encompass me
I’m filling up my lungs so I
Can breathe

Made a mistake
Need to escape
Moved into everything that I
Would hate

My intuition tells me to run back home
I’m on a cliff
Singing sweet
I want to stay here
Give me a reason
I’ll pray here
