Intertwined, I once thought
Painted rain through the windowpane
I hear them sing
Connecting what I was taught
Silhouettes, they haunt again
Through gust of wind in the eves of spring
Intertwined where we stood
Painted rain outside the station
(No more time for contemplations)
Collect my thoughts, I've packed my bags
Maybe I'll see you if I'm back upstate
(But this was all worth the wait)
