Where The Wind Don't Blow
I need a place where the wind don't blow somewhere I can rest these long bones
I need a place where my head can rise above the damage now that's scratching at my eyes
Do you know a little patch,
yeh some little blade o' grass,
where I can let my head settle on,
grass, mud or metal
If you believe that,
a dead thing can grow,
then wrap your arms around these bones
As if you knew me anyway
If you believe that,
a dead thing can rise,
then wrap your arms around this guy
As if you knew me anyway
I'm so damn angry i'm a magnifying glass hold me up and i'll burn, some miles o' grass
So fill on up my glass with angel tears and let some lonesome music, fill my ears
Do you know a little patch,
yeh some little blade o' grass,
where I can let my head settle on,
grass, mud or metal
I aint found a place to lie,
but i'm dancing with you in slow time,
it's all here behind my closed eyes
