December Skies

It's inevitable, looking for a reason for me to believe in/
Man, it's incredible how something so positive can be so deceiving/
Yeah its terrible as I sit back watching the world grieving/
We need a miracle, a lyrical spirit to hear what we are feeling/
cll this anger this hatred losing faith in the ones that were supposed to protect us/
No more can I take this cuz the loss of innocence is no longer debated/
This is my reality, swimming in a crimson tide/
The blood is on our hands what a day to be alive/
Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the lord my soul to keep/
If I should die before I wake I pray the lord my soul to take/
Can you take all this hate in my heart before it tears me apart /
Cuz now I fear for the worst knowing it's about to start/
The same people saying fuck the police, is the ones calling them when there's a tragedy/
When the drama finally ceases, then it's back to Fuck the polices/
Can we have an era of peace man theres no need to pull the trigger/
