My Women

Verse 1.
Now when my women first meet me, they’re as happy as can be
They wouldn’t want to change one single thing
But then as time goes by, my new ‘person’ starts to try
To change me to the man she thinks she needs
The kind of man she could have, the type of guy she should have!
But sure as hell it don’t sound like me !

Verse 2.
So once she knows how you feel, she’ll kick your Achilles heel
Her respect n’ love have gone their separate ways,
So it don’t matter what you say - she’s bound to win the day
Don’t forget she’s a woman after all !!
n’ when she gets that tongue of hers waggin’ you get your high velocity naggin’
And she won’t let my opinion stand in her way

So when I stand up straight n’ defy her, she just turns the flames up higher
She’s got so many changes planned for me
Life’s a constant tongue lashin’, I’m a victim of man bashin’
It’s in her genes n’ she will have their say
As she waits for the years to unfold n’ I’m getting’ slow n’ old
She’ll bully me right down into my grave –
