I felt some hope today and tried to see it through.
It's not what I had wanted but it's the truth.
If I could try again I probably would not.
The way I gain perspective could not exist if I did.

Only with my self reflection can I see the error.
Guess you weren't the one to ride me out in the end.
I ruined every ounce of progress when I'd see your message.
I have felt it happen many times.

The tattoos that we share are never going to fade.
