Static Mirages

I swear that I know when I cross your mind because I get an itch that I can't scratch.
The same one you'd get.
So you'd call and we'd talk.
Thousands of hours stuck in those phone lines.
I was too.
Living amongst static mirages when last August the sun didn't set where I hoped that it would.
Our day trips, train to Paris - losing the moments I'd mourn for so long.
