Hope

I feel the gravity of everything
Bury me with a weight I couldn’t carry
I felt it helpless on my own
When I lose myself in this fever dream
It scares me more than anything
How could I shift the blame?
How could I still feel safe?

That makes it all worth it
In all of the suffering and loss?

Bitter and haunting
