Horses

The sky tonight’s so deep and clear
I could just disappear
I close my eyes and feel I’m near
But I’m still stuck out here

I want to dive into a pool
Of water deep and cool
And when I rise into the air
I want to see you there
I tear an orange into two
I say I’m here for you
You tear an orange into three
What do you want from me

And if you think I see the road
We are on together
A ribbon wide and clear that goes
Stretching out forever
How am I now to make you know
It’s not what I’m after
My only want is to be close
Until we pull over

So you go on and on your own
I know you don’t need my help

I dream of horses every night
