Fuzzy Blue Signs
My room's a lot smaller than it used to be
The window's been open for centuries
The mold is now one with my tapestry
And pictures were stolen by gravity
Clock ticking is causing insanity
As mirrors lose all their humanity
Escaping becomes my reality
When hands turn the keys automatically, the city
Pushes the night back with fuzzy blue signs
They appear in the distance by countless skylines
Pavement and billboards which once multiplied
Turn to dirt roads and orchards I don't recognize
The lines become one right in front of me
Bright yellow and white in a sea of green
My brake lines were cut, what a tragedy
There's no slowing down till I reach the sea
Destruction approaches me rapidly
The stars mask their faint luminosity
As panic increases my heartbeat
Mysterious lights put my mind at ease, the city
Pushes the night back with fuzzy blue signs
They appear in the distance by countless skylines
Pavement and billboards which once multiplied
Turn to dirt roads and orchards I don't recognize
Driving alone under fuzzy blue skies
I hear church bells and organs sing mournful goodbyes
Whistles and sirens let out their strange cries
To the city that concrete and windows comprise
