A hundred million years ago
Far corner of the Universe
A little star began to glow
The times were changing from bad to worse

A peaceful race on the earth below
Didn't understand the signs of doom
They thought what made their heavens glow
An unborn king in his stellar womb

Only one man knew that the time had come to go
Only one man knew that the planet was going to blow
He tried to warn the King

He would start to build a ship
That could take them all away

Was a supernova that would take all their lives
The priests had told them lies
About the menace that filled their skies
So he left alone
