sometimes i get too caught up in what's going on
too focused on where i want to be
but i'm right where i belong
i know, i know the universe won't steer me wrong
all the things i thought was made to break me made me so much stronger
it's gods plan
you can't plan it
you make plans and god just starts laughing

it's a few things i know
it's way more that i don't
so i put faith in everything working out how it's supposed to
been through ups and downs
been through highs and lows
the biggest thing i've learned is letting all the small things go
it's some plans that'll work
and it's some plans just won't
but i wont worry 'bout nothing not in my control

sometimes these mountains we hope to climb feel so enormous
but the only way to reach the peak is keep on moving forward
i've had so, so many goals in life that i've fallen short of
but i know that life don't happen to me it's happening for me
