Wildflowers
I’ve been trying to find my way home
But it's hard with rootless bones
And the sun's the same but it shines stronger
Where the lulo grows
So I keep traveling on but I wonder
Where the street will lead me at the end of my defeat
Because I've walked alone on this continent
For quite some time
There's no reason for my worries
As I sink deeper with each thought
But the ground that lies ahead
It's luminescent pure and large
As I blind my brain
While my ship keeps sailing its way
I keep moving down the river
But I’m blinded by the white stones
I've got your stories in my pocket
You've got my heart locked
Deep inside your bones
I keep hoping for you to see me
Through all of your fog
So won't you come with me
Why won't you come with me
Down the road
Where we would lie
Among the wildflowers
Just listening
While they glow
For us
